NEWS!! At the CKC Fort Garry Kennel club show held Oct 11th Skyla became a NEW CHAMPION!!!  She has not been entered in many shows but when she won she was always against at least 6 dogs. She received 4 wins with 3 points each time.

After having 1 Finnish Lapphund we needed another. It turns out she is Gracie’s niece and they hit it off right away. Skyla is a real character that is full of energy and tons of fun! You should see her spin and jump at the same time when we say “want to go for a run”. She loves to go to agility classes and we hope to compete soon. She is at the smaller end of the standard for a female FL, is very well balanced and a delight to show with her “happy” tail.  Her wolfsable colouring is so pretty in the sunlight.

On July 6-8, 2007 Skyla was entered in her first Canadian Kennel Club shows
on Day 3 she earn three points toward her CKC champion with a Best of Breed!

Skyla had her first litter Jan 21st sired by Janmanin Aleksanteri “Api”.  We hope to see both these pups in the show ring in late summer.

We thought she’d like to try out herding so brought her for a CKC Herding Instinct test.  It is a real thrill to watch these dogs work.  They aren’t reindeer but Skyla knew exactly what to do and received her first working title a HIC.  You have watch a clip on the following link
